With a history of providing high-quality housing and services to seniors, K.C. Charities has expanded its existing seniors’ housing properties on Louise Street in Saskatoon.

The new Columbian Village building is part of the same faith-based 55+ community as the neighbouring Manor, featuring additions which include a beauty salon, a library, guest suites, a family gathering room (accommodates 20), and a large common area for entertainment and other activities.

Columbian Village residents have access to the majority of amenities in the Manor, including its large, sunny dining room, and any classes, clubs and other gatherings. The new 100-seat chapel hosts daily Mass and is accessible to all from both buildings. This helps maintain the strong sense of community in the housing complex.

Located in the Nutana Suburban Centre neighbourhood on the east side of Saskatoon, nearby Market Mall has a grocery store, shops, restaurants, a pharmacy, a medical clinic, and a seniors-focused Community Health Clinic. Also nearby is Eastview Bowling Lanes, the Saskatoon Bridge Club, and Royal Canadian Legion Branch 362.

Columbian Manor also has 51 supportive living units for low-income seniors. Assisted living includes home cooked meals, housekeeping, and 24-hour on site support staff. These services are also available to all Columbian Manor and Columbian Village residents for an additional fee.
